Institutional Login authenticated e resources
If Shibboleth/Institutional login authenticated e resources are not working correctly in the Online Access window Library Search, the advice is to right click on the resource title and select "open in a new tab (or window)" or to use a different browser, e.g. Firefox.

Library Search will replace infoLinX and Library Catalogue shortly. Using Library Search you can save your searches and references, check your library account and renew items online. Library Search - how to make the best use of it!

RefWorks drop in sessions
Cavendish Library will be running lunchtime drop in sessions for all students to help them use this bibliographical online software to store and organise references.
Most weekdays from Monday 1st to Friday 26th November 2010, 1-2pm in the library training room 1.

Staff drop- in sessions on New Library and IT services homepage!
Cavendish library will run a Library Search session for staff:

Cavendish Academic Liaison team will be available to show you the new system, Library Search and update you latest news on Library & IT Services.

"New" Cavendish Library
Cavendish Library has expanded which means we will have 3 floors in mid September. We will be on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floor of the Cavendish building. We will have study area for group study, silent study area and individual study rooms.
The education stock now is housed on the 4th floor of the library. The location number is 370-378. Please explore your library.
The journals are shelved by title on the 5th floor.
